Hybrid Lash Fill
Your hybrid set looking a little uneven or sparse? Time for a fill.
Hybrid lash extensions combine Classic single extensions with handcrafted Volume fans — and as your natural lashes shed, both elements drop at different rates. A hybrid fill addresses both, replacing shed classics and rebuilding fans where needed to restore that signature fuller-than-classic, softer-than-volume texture you love.
We fill hybrid extensions applied at any salon — not just Chula.
What's included:
- Removal of grown-out or misaligned extensions
- Fresh Classic and Volume extensions applied to new natural lash growth
- Shape, symmetry and density check
- Health Canada compliant adhesive
- Available in English or Spanish
Why Hybrid Fills Take a Little Longer
A hybrid fill is more involved than a classic fill — and it's worth understanding why.
A Classic fill replaces single extensions on a straightforward 1:1 basis. A Hybrid fill requires your technician to:
- Identify which extensions are Classic vs Volume
- Replace Classic extensions individually
- Handcraft new Volume fans to match the density and curl of the existing ones
- Blend both seamlessly so the finished set looks even and intentional — not patched
This is why hybrid fills take slightly longer than classic fills and require a skilled technician who works with both techniques. At Chula, every hybrid fill is done with the same precision as a full set.
Do You Need a Fill or a Full New Set?
A hybrid fill works when you still have at least 40% of your extensions in place. With enough coverage to work from, your technician can restore fullness and blend seamlessly.
You'll need a full new hybrid set if:
- Less than 40% of extensions remain
- It's been more than 4–5 weeks since your last visit
- Your set has grown out unevenly or lost its shape
- You originally had Classic lashes and want to upgrade to Hybrid

How Often Should You Book a Hybrid Lash Fill?
Every 2–3 weeks keeps your hybrid set looking consistently full and textured.
Every 2 weeks
Ideal if your lashes shed quickly or you want the densest, freshest look at all times.
Every 3 weeks
Works well for slower lash growth. Your set may look slightly lighter toward week 3 but still noticeably fuller than natural.
Waiting beyond 3 weeks
Retention drops significantly and you risk falling below the 40% threshold — which means a full set rather than a fill, and a higher cost overall.
Staying on a regular 2–3 week schedule is always the most cost-effective and lash-healthy approach.
Aftercare — Keep Your Hybrid Fill Looking Its Best
- Keep lashes completely dry for 24 hours
- Avoid steam, saunas and swimming for 24 hours
- Brush daily with a clean spoolie — pay extra attention to the Volume fans to keep them fluffy
- Avoid all oil-based products near the lash line
- Sleep on your back or use a silk pillowcase
- Never pull, rub or pick at extensions
- Cleanse with a lash-safe foam cleanser regularly — clean lashes retain significantly better
