Classic Lash Fill
Your classic set is looking a little sparse? That's completely normal — and exactly what a fill is for.
Natural lashes shed daily as part of their growth cycle, taking extensions with them as they go. A classic lash fill replaces those shed extensions with fresh new ones, restoring the full, even, defined look of your original set.
Think of it as a tune-up — quicker than a full set, more affordable, and all you need to keep your lashes looking consistently beautiful.
We fill classic extensions applied at any salon — not just Chula.
What's included:
- Removal of any grown-out or twisted extensions
- Fresh extensions applied to new natural lash growth
- Shape and symmetry check across the full lash line
- Health Canada compliant adhesive
- Available in English or Spanish
What Happens During a Classic Lash Fill?
A lash fill is not just adding more extensions on top of existing ones. Here's what actually happens:
Step 1 — Assessment
Your technician examines your current set — checking retention, symmetry and the health of your natural lashes.
Step 2 — Clean Up
Any extensions that have grown out, twisted or are no longer sitting correctly are carefully removed. This protects your natural lashes and ensures the new extensions bond properly.
Step 3 — Fresh Application
New extensions are applied using the classic 1:1 method to all natural lashes that have grown in since your last appointment — restoring fullness and balance across the entire lash line.
Step 4 — Final Check
Your technician reviews the full set for symmetry, density and shape before you leave.
Do I Need a Fill or a Full New Set?
A fill works when you have at least 40% of your extensions still in place. This gives your technician enough existing coverage to work from and ensures even, consistent results.
You'll need a full new set if:
- Less than 40% of your extensions remain
- It's been more than 4–5 weeks since your last appointment — retention drops significantly beyond this point
- Your extensions are from a different style — for example, switching from Volume to Classic
- You had a full removal and are starting fresh

How Often Should You Book a Classic Lash Fill?
Every 2–3 weeks is the sweet spot for most clients. Here's why timing matters:
Every 2 weeks → ideal if your natural lashes shed quickly or you want consistently full coverage at all times.
Every 3 weeks → works well if you have slower lash growth and good retention. Your set will look slightly less full toward the end of the cycle but still polished.
Beyond 3 weeks → extensions shed significantly and you may cross below the 40% threshold, requiring a full new set instead. This ends up costing more than staying on a regular fill schedule.
Regular fills also protect your natural lash health — grown-out extensions left on too long can create unnecessary weight and tension on the natural lash.
Aftercare — Maximize Your Fill Retention
The same aftercare rules apply after a fill as after your original full set:
- Keep lashes dry for 24 hours after your appointment
- Avoid steam, saunas and swimming for 24 hours
- Brush daily with a clean spoolie
- Avoid oil-based products near the lash line — oils break down the adhesive faster
- Sleep on your back or use a silk pillowcase
- Never rub, pull or pick at your extensions
- Cleanse your lashes regularly with a lash-safe cleanser — clean lashes retain better
