Eyelash extensions are a sophisticated method designed to enhance the curl, fullness, and thickness of your natural lashes. Each extension is meticulously bonded to an individual natural lash, resulting in a stunning appearance. Various styles are available, including classic, volume, cat eye, and hybrid sets.

Classic eyelash extensions involve attaching a single extension to each natural lash, effectively extending its length. This technique provides a timeless, natural look, similar to the effect of mascara but without the daily application.

Volume eyelash extensions entail applying multiple thin, lightweight, and fanned-out extensions to a single natural lash, thereby enhancing volume. Depending on your preference, we can also increase the length of your natural lashes by using longer extensions.

At Chula Beauty Salon, the volume designation corresponds to the number of extensions applied to each natural lash. A 3D set comprises 3-4 thin, soft extensions per natural lash, while a 4D set includes 4-5 extensions, offering more volume than the 3D. The Russian Volume set involves applying 6-10 extensions to one natural lash, creating a more dramatic effect. Prior to this application, we assess the condition of your natural lashes to ensure they can support the extensions without incurring damage, as maintaining the health of your lashes is our top priority.

Our eyelash extensions are crafted from high-quality faux mink, a soft synthetic material designed to mimic the texture of mink hair.

We opt not to use real mink fur because many individuals experience allergic reactions to animal furs. Given the proximity of the extensions to the eyes, we aim to minimize any potential for allergic responses.

Please arrive at the salon without any eye makeup. Avoid curling your lashes or applying mascara on the day before and the day of your appointment. This preparation reduces the time needed for cleaning, allowing us to focus more on the extension application process.

When applied correctly, eyelash extensions do not harm your natural lashes or cause them to shed. Our stylists are trained to attach extensions to fully matured lashes, leaving younger lashes to grow naturally. It's important to remember that natural lashes have their own growth and shedding cycle, similar to the hair on your body. While individual lashes shedding may go unnoticed, they become more apparent when attached to an extension.

The application is performed while you rest comfortably on a spa bed. A full set typically takes about 1.5 hours, though this can vary based on the volume of your natural lashes. During the procedure, your lower lashes are secured with a gel eye cushion, and extensions are attached individually using medical-grade adhesive. The process is designed to be relaxing, with many clients finding it so soothing that they fall asleep.

With proper care, eyelash extensions can last between 2 to 4 weeks. Factors such as humidity, exposure to steam, rubbing, sleeping positions, and the use of oil-based makeup removers can influence their longevity. To maintain a full appearance, we recommend scheduling refills every 2-3 weeks.

To keep your extensions looking their best, plan to visit us for refills every 2-3 weeks. The refill process typically takes between 60 to 75 minutes. Delaying refills beyond this period may result in significant loss of extensions, necessitating a new full set. Therefore, it's advisable to schedule your refill appointments in advance.

The adhesive we use is waterproof; however, we recommend avoiding contact with water for at least 48 hours after application to allow the adhesive to fully set. After this period, you can engage in water-related activities like swimming or showering without concern.

A lash lift is akin to a perm for your natural lashes, curling them from base to tip. For optimal results, your natural lashes should be at least 3mm long. The procedure takes approximately 1.5 to 1.75 hours, and the effects can last up to one month.

Lash tinting involves applying a semi-permanent dye to darken your natural lashes, with results lasting up to one month. For maximum impact, it's recommended to combine lash tinting with a lash lift.

It's crucial to inform your waxing technician if you've used products containing Retinol, Proactive, Alpha Hydroxy, or Glycolic Acid, as these can thin the skin and potentially cause tearing during waxing.

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel appointments. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be considered a no-show. After one no-show, a non-refundable deposit of $50 will be required for your next appointment, which will be applied to your service. We appreciate your cooperation.
